I used to be a big fan of writing on Medium. I love the platform and the community of writers there. But about a couple of months ago, I decided to stop writing on Medium and build my own website instead.

It was a lot of work, but it is worth it. My new website is doing really well — I’ve had a lot of traffic and positive feedback. If you’re thinking about starting your own website, here are some tips to get you started.

Impressions

I got out of Google’s sandbox and now have become visible on Search Engine Page Results (SERP). The site has had over 1.2K impressions in the last month.

I need to keep improving my CTR (Click Through Rate) and other metrics. But will enjoy the first 1K impressions and celebrate for now!
